Brigid Lennon RIP, sister of Ned Coogan   28/05/2021

The Trustees and members of St. Brigids wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the Lennon and Coogan families on the passing of Brigid Lennon, sister of Ned Coogan.

Lennon (nee Coogan) (Ballinaboola, Maddoxtown, Co. Kilkenny and late of Uskerty, Coon) 27th May 2021, peacefully at home in the loving care of her family, Brigid, beloved wife of the late Sean and much loved mother of Ann Jim, Sheila, Jack, Breda, Mag, Paula, Thomas and Patrick, sadly missed by her loving family, sisters Lil, Maggie and Kathleen, brothers Jimmy and Ned, sons-in-law Mark, John, Larry and Gabbo, daughters-in-law Maria, Marian and Joanne, her beloved 25 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, former work colleagues and friends.

In accordance with current Government/H.S.E. guidelines and in the interest of public health a private funeral for family and close friends will take place for Brigid, with Requiem Mass celebrated on Saturday (29th May) at 11.30 am in St. Kieran's Church, Tullaherin. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

House private please. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired to the Irish Cancer Society (www.cancer.ie) and the Carlow Kilkenny Home Care Team (www.carlowkilkennyhomecareteam.ie)

For those unable to attend due to restrictions, a recording of the Requiem Mass may be viewed online from 6pm on Saturday
