Last Friday evening in Russell Park, our Junior Hurlers held their fundraiser in as competitive a contest as any you’d see on any pitch.
In a very close battle our team sponsors, Turning Point Wellness went into the final round in the lead however, the round format allowed other teams the opportunity to deduct points from rivals (playing the man without the ball so to speak) as the St. Pats team found to their detriment.
The winners, decided on the final question were the modestly titled "2Good4Junior" from runners up "Farke Nights".

It was a great night with thanks to all those who entered teams, bought tickets and in particular, those who sponsored raffle prizes:
- The Carpenter Pub
- Leisureplex
- Tonic Health Club (Castleknock Hotel)
- Paudge McGlynn and Minor Boys.
The Friday night antics didn’t seem to affect their performance on Sunday as the AHL 5 hurlers topped off the weekend with a win over Na Gaeil Óga.
Best of luck for the rest of the year to all players and management.
