St. Brigid’s Golf Classic

The club are delighted to announce that Flynn & Associates Estate Agents are the main sponsor of our annual golf classic that takes places in Royal Tara Golf Club on 24 May next.   The club are very grateful for their support.

The sad death has occurred of Patricia (Trish) Lonergan on the 23rd March 2024, peacefully at Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown, after a short illness.

 

Patricia (Trish), beloved daughter of Ann and Donie, sadly missed by her sister Maria and special sister Sinéad, brother Dónal, sister-in-law Claire and adored nephew Daniel and nieces Croía and Seoidín, extended family and friends.

 

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Blanchardstown on Tuesday evening (March 26th) between 6 pm and 8 pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (March 27th) to St. Brigid’s Church, Blanchardstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in Esker Lawn Cemetery.

Powell, Ann (née Murphy), (Blanchardstown, Dublin and formerly of Rhode, Co. Offaly) March 19th 2024. Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband, Frank, her parents Willie and Ann-Jane, brothers Joe and Oliver and sister Maggie. Much loved mother of Jane, Francis, Alan and Noel. Adored grandmother of Sam, Max, Nathan, Zach, Zara and Daniel. Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, sister Mary, brothers Seamus, Tom, Sean and Willie, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Kelly, Anna and Noel’s Fiancee Federica, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Tom Quinn RIP

Tom and his family have been associated in very many ways with St Brigid’s. Quinn, Thomas (Tom) 6th March 2024, Late of Castleknock and Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal. Peacefully after an illness at home surrounded by his loving family and the Hospice Care Team.

Beloved husband of Brid (née O’ Loughlin) and much loved father of John and Marie. Tom will be sadly missed and forever loved by his adored grandchildren, Erin, Rose, Aoife, Niamh and Sean, Tom’s brother Danny, daughter-in-law Ann Marie, niece Marguerite, sisters-in-law, cousins and friends.

Reposing at home from 5pm to 8pm on Thursday, 7th March. Funeral Mass on Friday at 2pm in Corpus Christi Church, Lisdoonvarna. Burial afterwards in Toovahera Church Grounds.

Fingal Sports – Women in Sport Week – Try Handball

We are delighted to partner with Fingal Sports Office for Women in Sport Week.

On Wednesday next all ladies, mams, sisters and grannies are invited to come down to the hall in Russell Park to give handball a go.  It is great fun and an opportunity to make friends and a new challenge in 2024.

MULLINS (Bruree and Bishopstown): On 29th February 2024, peacefully, yet unexpectedly at St. Joseph’s, Bon Secours Care Village, MARGARET (née McGrath), beloved wife of John and much loved mother of Mary, Johnny, Eugene, Norma and Yvonne, sister of Seamus and Frank, pre-deceased by her brothers Patrick, Diarmuid, Sean, Joseph and Eamon and her sister Reena.
Sadly missed by her family, adored grandchildren Jack, Peter, Killian, Conor, Gabriel, Joshua, Alex and Katya, sons-in-law John, Steven and Simon, daughters-in-law Gina and Nora, brother-in-law Eddie, sisters-in-law Betty and Ita, cousin Cate, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her residence on Saturday (March 2nd) from 4.00pm to 6.00pm and Sunday from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.
