Cian Walsh Memorial Hurling Blitz 2023

On Sunday last, 20 August, the club were delighted to host Ballincollig (Cork), JK Brackens (Tipperary), Bruff (Limerick), Dunloy Cú Chulainn (Antrim) and Dicksboro Kilkenny) for the inaugural U12 hurling blitz in memory of Cian Walsh.

A wonderful day was had by all. It was a fitting tribute to Cian who would have loved every minute of it. Some great hurling on display and all played in such a fair sporting manner throughout. Huge credit to all volunteers who made the day happen, it was a great club day.

Thanks to all  visiting clubs, players, mentors and parents who took part in the day – fingers crossed our paths will cross again in the future.

Thanks to Hadleigh Print for designing the programmes and to Kepak for providing the burgers which were very tasty!

Thanks to everyone who supported the day and the Heart Children fundraiser.
