Q&A with Cathal Doyle, our Senior Hurling Captain

In the run up to the third round of the Senior Hurling Championship on Saturday to continue our recent Q&A series to get to know Cathal Doyle, Captain of the Senior Hurlers, a bit better. The lads take on Lucan Sarsfields at 3.30pm at O’Toole Park . All support welcomed.  Link to tickets

With his Clare heritage and red helmet we never found out if Cathal models himself on Brian Lohan in defense!

Favourite memory playing for St.Brigid’s at juvenile and adult level?

As a juvenile, it has to be winning the Dublin and Leinster minor A championship back in ’07.
As an adult, it’s hard to pick between the run to the Snr football Leinster championship final in ’11, and the run to the Snr hurling final in ’19.
I’d say ’19 just sneaks it.
