St Brigid's Jonny Westlake through to Over 35s Singles Final

The success of St
Brigidâs handballers continued today (Sunday) at the Kingscourt 60x30 venue where
Jonny Westlake had a convincing win over Cavanâs Brian Reilly. Westlake was
completely dominant in the first winning on a 21-1 scoreline. The second was
however much more competitive with the Meath player serving better and cutting
off the returns earlier to shorten the rallies. St Brigidâs Westlake remained
cool throughout showing his experience. Through excellent all round play he
stayed with Reilly by a combination of serving and power killing before
eventually forging ahead to win 21-15.
