AHL 5 - St Brigids 1-14 Naomh Fionnbarra 0-08

Our Inter Hurlers moved to the top of the AHL 5 table after another fine league win, this time over Naomh Fionnbarra on Sunday morning. Despite missing several key men through injury, the lads began brightly and led 1-08 to 0-04 at half time, Keith Morris with the deftest of finished after great work by James Reilly.

Finbarrs fought back in the second period and were it not for some excellent saves by man mountain Kieran Cahill in goal, things may have been closer. As it was, points from Conor Morris and James Reilly sealed a deserved Brigids win.
