Alan Nolan Continues in Goal for Dublin Senior Hurlers in LF 2013-04-04 16:11:00

Best of luck to Alan Nolan and the Dublin Senior Hurlers in the Division 1B NHL Final V Limerick on Saturday. Alan continues in goal after fine displays against Limerick and Carlow earlier in the league. Paul Ryan has been selected to start for Dublin hurlers in Saturday nights Allianz Division 1B promotion final at Semple Stadium, Thurles (7.0) against LImerick following his impressive cameo against Carlow last weekend.The Ballyboden sharpshooter was only introduced in the second half against the Barrowsiders last Sunday in Parnell Park yet finished with a tally of seven points as the Dubs booked their berth in Saturdays crucial league rematch against Limerick.

Ryan was red-carded in the regulation league meeting of the counties in Croke Park (March 16) when a mis-firing Dublin were outclassed down the home straight as John Allens side came from behind to win by six points (1-21 to 1-15) on their way to topping the Division 1B league table.

The prize for Saturdays winner is promotion to Division 1A for the 2014 season and a place in this years Division 1 semi-final.
Conal Keaney is once again named at centre-back following a string of influential displays from the pivotal defensive spot.
