Morris on from as Inter Hurlers Sledge Past Clontarf in League 2012-10-02 09:04:00

St Brigids 1-15 Clontarf 1-12

Seven points from Keith Morris saw our Inter Hurlers claim a battling three point win in the league, over Clontarf on Saturday evening. The Brigids men trailed 0-08 to 0-05 at half time, with points from Badger O Halloran (0-03), Brian Mulcahy and a magical score from Seamus Lynam keeping the lads in touch.

However, the second half belonged to the home side, as consecutive Morris 65s, two Cormac O Meara (above) points and a trademark poachers goal from Brian Mulcahy had the lads 6 points ahead entering injury time.

A late Clontarf goal, courtesy of a wicked deflection was the only thing to pass a superb Ciaran Cahill in goals as Brigids claimed both league points on a 1-15 to 1-12 score line.
