Club Notes from September 24th to October 1st   25/09/2017

Huge congratulations to Noelle Healy, Ciara Trant and Deirdre Murphy as Dublin won the TG4 All-Ireland Final bringing the Brendan Martin Cup back to Dublin. Massive well done to Noelle Healy, who received player of the match. Wonderful to have both Sam and Brendan in the capital in 2017 with the St Brigid’s girls proudly joining Paddy Andrews and Eoin Kennedy as St Brigid’s 2017 All-Ireland winners.

Thank you to everyone who came along and gave the girls massive support in Croke Park, particularly Julie, Conor and the U10 girls who welcomed the teams to the pitch and played the half time mini-game.

Eoin Kennedy and Carl Browne have advanced to their 3rd straight Senior Softball Doubles Final after seeing off the challenge of Mayo's Joe McCann & Dessie Keegan in their Semi-final 21-17 to 21-4. The Dublin lads went ahead at 17-16 in the first game and never looked back. Dublin ran up an 11-0 lead in the second game, before eventually sealing the win 21-4. The Final is scheduled for 7th October- wishing Eoin and Carl all the best in their preparations.
