Adult Football Championship Review - Seniors and AFL6's Win!   14/05/2017

Our Senior Footballers progressed into the last 8 of the Dublin Senior Football Championship following a 0-14 to 1-08 win over Thomas Davis

in Parnell Park on Saturday evening. Click on the link below for extended match highlights. Well done to Mark and Co on a fine win.

Dublin SFC Last 16 Brigids V TD

Our AFL3 Footballers lost out to Ballyboughal in their last 16 clash on Friday evening. Leading 0-06 to 0-05 at half time the lads looked to be in a positive position,

but three second half goals proved decisive as Anto Holly's men fell to a 3-12 to 0-14 defeat.

Our AFL4 Footballers have already qualified for the last 8 of the Junior A Championship and will now face OPER who beat Man O War this morning on June 13th.

Our AFL6 Footballers claimed a superb 3-06 to 1-11 win over Na Gaeil Óga on Sunday morning. Playing against a strong wind in the first half, the lads trailed

0-09 to 0-01 at one stage before a James Reilly goal brought them back into the game before half time. A much improved second half saw the lads edge home against a

dodged and well drilled Na Gaeil Óga side by the smallest of margins.

Finally, our AFL 10 Footballers lost out to a strong St Pats Palmerstown from AFL9 in the Junior D Championships on Sunday afternoon. Like our AFL6 team, they too

played against a strong first half breeze but the concession of three goal during that half was crucial. They battled back well in the second half before eventually going

down 3-09 to 1-07.
